The weather was changeable, moving from hot and muggy to cold and clear, which is why I love to go up to the mountains during the last week of August. I was able to paint outdoors three days and immerse myself in all that glorious light and color.
Above is a painting of Basin Pond, in Evans Notch, painted on location, 12" x 16".
